"It is heartbreakingly often, that in between all the wedding planning fuss and stress, we seem to forget what actually is the most important; the love between the two people who finally get to join their lives together for the rest of their years.

 

We wanted to celebrate young love in a fun and relaxed way. Romantic, abundant picnic over the rooftops of Helsinki for the couple to enjoy, long night stroll around the old parts of the city, sips of champagne straight from the bottle, and in the center of it all the couples love and affection towards each other. Our aim was to create a modern, yet timeless elopement.

To give their elopement a bit more of a wedding feel, we opted for an installation in the stairs of the iconic Helsinki Cathedral. Modern and trendy look of the installation was achieved with a touch of pastel colors and an airy arrangement technique. The warm, late summer sunset against the crisp white church walls created a perfect setting for the couple to exchange their vows in.

Rosa & Miro’s sunny evening elopement full of laughter and passionate kisses was also a perfect nod towards the unusual times we live in. When a bigger gathering with their families wasn’t an option, a romantic evening in the heart of beautiful Helsinki felt just the right way to celebrate their wedding day."
